The NFL is back with another Black Friday game! And this time around it is another goodie between the Las Vegas Raiders and Kansas City Chiefs.
For a good while it looked like the Chiefs were trending towards another undefeated season. But the Buffalo Bills crashed the party, handing them their first loss of the year. But the Chiefs still have a lot to play for especially with, the Los Angeles Chargers proving to be a threat in the division. Despite their 9-1 record, this has been a pretty lackluster year for the Chiefs, especially on the part of their quarterback Patrick Mahomes. This season he is on pace to throw a career-high in interceptions and a career-low in receiving yards. Thankfully for Mahomes, he should be receiving some of his weapons back. Offensive stars Isaiah Pacheco and Hollywood Brown are on track to return to the field with the playoffs right around the corner.
The Las Vegas Raiders on the other hand have a lot less to celebrate. There was a lot of promise coming into this season. After head coach Antonio Pierce showed promise after taking over as interim head coach last season, fans were eager to see what he could do with a full offseason to prepare. But the Raiders have taken blow after blow to their roster this season. First, their star wide receiver Davante Adams forced his way to the New York Jets at the trade deadline. And more recently, the lost their starting quarterback Gardener Minshew for a season with an injury.
But despite their woes, the Raiders will still look to stick it to their division rivals, who are looking to finish their season strong.
