Donda Sports Lands Jaylen Brown

Jaylen Brown is the first NBA player to sign with Kanye West’s sports group.

Brown and West are known to be close and have been seen hanging out after basketball games.

It stands to reason that West chose the young star not only for his on-the-court success but also for his work off of the court.

Before being the third overall pick by the Boston Celtics in the 2016 draft, Jaylen had a great deal of success in the classroom. After an outstanding high school career, Brown decided to attend UC Berkley, leading the basketball team while taking graduate-level courses, all as a freshman.

While he takes his job seriously, Brown has always had interests other than just basketball. He has spoken about education and technology at schools like Harvard and MIT and was the youngest elected VP in the history of the NBA Players Association. He is also interested in languages and was criticized and called “too smart for the league” which has been proven to be some bullshit as he helped lead the Celtics to the Finals.

Brown is also an outspoken activist, something Kanye respects.

He joins NFL superstar Aaron Donald in Ye’s organization, a young business but one already stacked with talent from different leagues.
