Kaepernick Finally Gets His Shot?

Colin Kaepernick the controversial quarterback had a very promising workout with the Las Vegas Raiders on Wednesday.

Despite not having taken an NFL snap in five years, the NFL Network reports the door is open for his return.

Apparently, his arm strength and conditioning are still very high caliber, and the Raiders were impressed with his performance.

The coaching staff declined to comment on the workout, refusing to field questions about players not currently on the roster.

The QB room in Las Vegas already includes Derek Carr, the solidified starter, Jarrett Stidham as a backup, and Nick Mullins filling that third-string role.

Kaepernick has confirmed he is okay with starting as a backup but wanted to make it clear he believes he has the abilities and skill to be a starter, and will eventually earn that job. No offense man, but Derek Carr is playing outstanding football and is undoubtedly the leader of that team. Maybe not the place to go if you wanted to earn a starting job.

The whole Kaepernick saga has been extremely controversial and dramatic, and I’m sure if he does end up returning to the league the storyline will be very interesting.
