Kid Rock, who is apparently still making music (who knew?), released a new song on Friday called “Don’t Tell Me How To Live,” which took plenty of shots at the whiny entitled cancel culture enthusiasts that we all loath.

Rock, (or does he go by Kid?) is now 50, but still rock/rap/coutry’ing his way through the music industry and said that he has plans for a triple album of which he will have tunes of each of those three genres.

Anyways, the song is basically a four-minute anthem declaring that canceling is stupid.

“So what the f—’s up with all the backlash?” he belts out in the song:  “You snowflakes, here’s a newsflash!”

It then goes on to:

“And these minions and their agendas / Every opinion has a millennial offended / But this amendment one, it rings true / and if you don’t dissent, bitch, then see number two.”

Probably not a nominee for any lyric contests, but that isn’t his point.

The song also feature a band called Monster Truck (in case you were curious), and as stated above, it is expected to be the first single off of his next project.

It will be Kid Rock’s first new release since 2017.

As someone who has seen Kid Rock in concert he does have some bangers … and there is always friendly crowd for pretty much anything that you want to get into. This song isn’t on par with what made him famous, but… when you are famous you can make songs like this.

No word on how many hearts and minds were won with the track.
