Stetson Bennett Is Coming Back To UGA … Because He Has No Pro Potential

Okay, Dawgs, you got your guy back! Stetson Bennett… the walk-on that played his way to starter and won a national title for you is coming back!

It was the only logical thing for him. I mean, the dude wouldn’t get drafted into the NFL and will probably make more money from NIL than going to play in the USFL.

PLUS, think about how much he is going to smash in his senior year there.

Goodness, “between the hedges” never meant more.

The fifth-year QB had the opportunity to end his collegiate career with a National Championship, but now he’s looking to add one more championship to his trophy case, returning for a sixth year.

Bennett made his ‘announcement’ just over an hour after former five-star and massive disappointment JT Daniels officially entered the transfer portal.

During his postgame news conference at the Natty, the morning after he hoisted the trophy, Bennett said he wanted to win a championship at Georgia.

“I love this place. I love this team. I believe in myself and I love everything about this place. I wanted to win a national championship here.”

Now, he will get another opportunity to bring one more title to Athens before his college career ends.
