According to reports, Yella Beezy (real name Markies Deandre Conway) allegedly forced himself on a woman during a first date, where after she told him to stop he proceeded to rape her.
First published on TMZ, the outlet that obtained the arrest warrant and probable cause affidavit, the sexual assault case stems from Collin County, Texas, where according to the documents, an unidentified woman went for treatment at an emergency room and reported the alleged rape back in April.
The site reports that the woman claims Yella had contacted her on Instagram and was asking if “she was looking for a new friend.”
Apparently she was and they shared online interactions where she says, he asked her out. The two eventually settled on an evening to meet for dinner and bowling.
She reports that the dinner went well and that Yella invited her back to his place while they waited for the bowling reservations time slot.
The report says that the two went back to Yella’s, where they played cards to pass the time before he removed his shirt and asked for a massage. She said yes to the massage but not what followed.
She alleges that after the massage he sat next to her, began kissing her, and trying to undress her. She added that despite her saying “no” repeatedly, Yella then inserted his penis into her vagina.
TMZ reporta that the victim also claims that Yella also tried to gaslight her into making her think she’d initiated the sex by kissing him first. It was on the followed morning, when she went to the hospital, that the authorities got involved.
Yellas was booked on a sexual assault charge, as well as felony abandoned endangered child and misdemeanor unlawful carrying a weapon. The reports did not indicate where those charges stemmed from but the TMZ suggests that the affidavit went into enough detail on the sexual assault charge to take the situation public.
