Just a week after the debut of its Ghost of Dead Egypt-themed video slot, nye danske online casinoer developer Play'n GO is back to announce the launch of its new entry The Wild Class with five reels and 20 paylines.
In an official press release issued Thursday, the Waxio-headquartered company said its newest mobile video slot was designed for "1980s horror movie fans" and includes a Halloween theme, which should prove popular in anticipation of the October 31 milestone.
Triple Trouble:
Play'n GO already offers a portfolio of more than 200 video games, including the recently introduced Dr Toonz, Sisters of the Sun and Hugo Carts, and said its new three-row novelty The Wild Class invites fans to join three university students as they try to take "the last course." The developer also announced that this trio of high school students with the names "Jess," "Chris" and "Mike" become werewolves at midnight and must subsequently refrain from attacking their classmates.
Magical Mutation:
Like the previous Saxon video slot, the highly-variant The Wild Class offers simple stacked symbol mechanics, where symbols appear on the reels by themselves and then transform into their demonic alter egos with the possibility of further transformation into additional wilds. Play'n GO said its latest colorful game has a haunted amusement park backdrop with an ever-present full moon, which is sure to remind players of the 1985 film Teen Wolf, where three characters represent "the classic 1980s high school aesthetic: a cheerleader, a soccer captain and a bookish student."
Nostalgic nod:
Charlotte Miliziano is head of gaming at Play'n GO, and in a press release, she detailed that The Wild Class features wilds, multipliers, scatters and symbol swaps, and that it offers iGaming fans the chance to win 6,666 times their initial bet. She also claims that even players who don't like horror movies are sure to be captivated by the "symbol design that exudes a 1980s vibe," and the accompanying symbols "resemble varsity jackets with primary colors that stand out on the reels."

"We wanted to add another Halloween-themed title to our portfolio since Happy Halloween was released in 2015. Films from the 1980s like A Nightmare on Elm Street and Friday the 13th are coming out on Netflix, so we thought it was a good time to add another spooky slot to our repertoire. Plus, we're big fans of 1980s music."
