It’s time to get PUMPED football fans! Believe it or not, the NFL is officially past the midway point as we have reached Week 10 of the NFL season. With the season preparing to enter crunch time, every win and loss matters more with teams preparing to enter the playoff hunt. One of this week’s most anticipated showdowns will take place on Sunday Night Football when the Philadelphia Eagles take on the Dallas Cowboys in what should be a highly entertaining NFC East Showdown.
The Eagles started the season off rather pedestrian. They started the year with a 2-2 record through four games. But as the season has waned on, Nick Sirianni and the Eagles have adjusted to the times. They have won three straight games against the Cincinnati Bengals, New York Giants, and Cleveland Browns. They still have some competition in the NFC East with the Washington Commanders sitting at 7-2 which is why this game against their division rival is so important.
This year appears to be the same old story for the Dallas Cowboys. High hopes and low results. After coming into this season hoping to snap a two-decade-plus-long Super Bowl drought, the Cowboys are barely in the playoff picture. They currently sit in third place in the NFC East with a 3-5 record.
This matchup against the Eagles won’t be an easy one either. With things already going sour for Dallas, their starting quarterback Dak Prescott will not be available for this matchup. He is heading to IR after suffering an injury in their last game.
Philadelphia also comes into this matchup riding a four-game winning streak while the Cowboys have dropped three straight.
