I am about sick of every virus. The Covid bullshit has made me one very angry person when I see new confirmations of new virus’ and so this news coming from Maryland makes me want to throw my computer out the apartment window.

Anyways, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has confirmed an initial case of monkeypox in a Maryland after a patient returned from Nigeria.

Good fvcking night. I am over it. You asshole. Thanks, monkeypox…

The patient reportedly developed mild symptoms, and has not been hospitalized, but is in isolation, at least according to the Maryland Department of Health. The agency also said the individual and any exposed contacts will be monitored for 21 days.

Can we just like, launch them into the sun instead? Just to make sure.

I can not have some bullshit monkeypox shutting down more shit. Hell no. I am not here for it. I can’t.

“Our response in close coordination with CDC officials demonstrates the importance of maintaining a strong public health infrastructure,” MDH Deputy Secretary for Public Health Jinlene Chan said in a statement.

This specific monkeypox strain reportedly matches to a version of the virus that had first reappeared in Nigeria back in 2017.

In that time, 218 cases have been reported in Nigeria — with another eight cases among international travelers from the country.

The CDC describes monkeypox as a “rare but potentially serious” disease, saying it was first discovered in 1958 when two outbreaks of a pox-like disease occurred in colonies of monkeys kept for research, hence the name ‘monkeypox.’ The first human case of monkeypox was recorded in 1970 in the Democratic Republic of Congo during a period of intensified effort to eliminate smallpox. Since then monkeypox has been reported in humans in other central and western African countries.

The pictures of monkeypox looks like it is fvcking nasty. No one should want this… but also, if you had it, why did you get on a fvcking plane and come back to this country.
