With approval ratings for Joe Biden and Kamala Harris dropping to historical lows, the self proclaimed King of All Media, Howard Stern, is saying that he may have to step in and save America from itself if Trumps does plan on running for President.
And, he is supremely confident in his potential campaign.
“I know, I’ll beat his ass,” Stern told his longtime sidekick Robin Quivers about a possible run against Trump.
The radio host then said of his strategy, “(I’d) sit there and play that f–king clip of him trying to fix the election over and over again,” referencing a Trump call to Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger.
“There’s no way I’d lose,” Stern added.
Stern said that it would be his civic duty to be the opposition to Trump.
Quivers seemed to be in.
“If Trump decides to run again, you have to run against him,” she said.
There was a time when Stern was a controversial figure in the media. My older brother tells the story that he learned of Sept. 11 attacks while he was listening to Stern and originally thought that he was doing a bit to get out of his contract.
Think about that. There was a time when people thought Stern would recreate some sick ‘War of the Worlds’ telecast about an attack on New York for ratings and now Stern is spending half of his shows berating Aaron Rodgers about wearing a mask.
It is a Lion-to-Mouse tale for Stern and even as many fawn over nostalgia, it is unlikely Stern would have the groundswell of support that he used to.
Anyways, here is to hoping that neither Trump nor Stern have to campaign against one another. The only place that would win in that situation is CNN.
