While we were all getting ready for a long weekend, Twitter user @emmalee_13 — whose name is listed as Emily Newman — snapped a pic and posted the image of a man who looks strikingly similar to Laundrie.

She tweeted, “Just wanted to let everyone know I saw Brian Laundrie today. That’s all.”

I mean, this dude does KINDA look like Laundrie.
TO THE TAPE:

The tweet got almost no pick up, which is weird with how many people had notifications set for Brian Laundrie’s name just a few months ago.

Is it him? Probably not… but it is interesting.

This is also not the first “sighting” of Laundrie since his remains were allegedly discovered.

In November, ENTSTARS released CCTV footage of a man, who looked very similar to Laundrie.

And TMZ, also released deer camera footage that showed a man with a backpack that kinda-sorta resembled Laundrie.

It may be because he is a pretty basic looking guy, but… that could also make it easier for him to fake his death and move along.

This dude could be literally anyone.

Laundrie and his girlfriend Gabby Petito were on a cross-country trip from New York to the West Coast when she went missing in late-August. According to the timeline and other reports, Laundrie arrived at his parents’ home in North Port, Florida without Petito on Sept. 1.

Her parents waited almost two weeks before reporting her missing on Sept. 11, and her body was then found in Bridger-Teton National Forest in Wyoming on Sept. 19. Laundrie’s parents have maintained that they haven’t seen him since Sept. 14 and they reported him missing three days later. A federal court in Wyoming has since issued a federal arrest warrant after a grand jury indicted Laundrie on debit card fraud after he allegedly used a debit card that didn’t belong to him to withdraw $1,000 between Aug. 30 and Sept. 1.

Prior to the discovery of his remains, the Sarasota County medical examiner’s office as well as a cadaver dog were sent to a park after several items belonging to Laundrie were found.
