D.L. Hughley — apparently his name is Darryl Lynn and it is not short for D-List — may have thrown the final scoop of dirt on Ye’s grave in the Kim Kardashian saga. Really, when you are at the level of arguing with D.L. Hughley, it is over anyways, but… this is the nail in the coffin.
Apparently the man formerly known as Kanye West took to social media (before he was banned) to call out Hughley and his clothing choices.
Yes, it started with this random post about D-List, who was clearly inspired by Cam Newton and 2016’s version of Pharrell: “This grown ass man picked this outfit out himself Is he influential or under the influence???”
Well… well… well… Hughley was not having it.
And he buried Ye in a serious of tweets that left the Twitter streets coated.
Here ya go, in order:
“Ye is at it again huh?? Welp at least I wasn’t crying on the phone about how big Pete’s Peter is! If you want her back instead acting up why don’t you try doing some d**k ups! #TeamDl”
Then the kill shot:
“Kanye do you know how horrible you gotta be to make a #Kardashian date a white man! #TeamDl.”
(Not interested in the debate on if it would be racist when a white person said that another white man made a white woman date a Black man or not, it isn’t worth pointing out that hypocrisy because of course that would be the angle in that instance.)
And just to make sure he stayed down:
“Kanye how dare you talk about the way someone dresses, look at you!! All those people in your head and not one of em got a Macys card? #TeamDl”
And then, he thought he saw the body twitch, so he hit another one:
“Kanye ain’t it funny how you can explain my jokes, but not your behavior? #TeamDl.”
And for good measure:
“Kanye supposedly has all these goons who will kill for him, but not one of them will get his prescriptions filled?”
Kanye has been all over the map for the last few months, circling the drain of his stardom, and this may have been a final flush on public opinion.
