As we all knows, the Bills and Chiefs played a classic Sunday night… a game decided by one of them calling tails and the other making him pay for it.
But, before that all happened, the Chiefs scored a field goal after getting the ball with fvcking 0:13 left.
In overtimes Patrick Mahomes marched his team downfield and found Travis Kelce in the corner of the end zone from 8 yards, giving the Chiefs a memorable 42-36 victory.
Again, before all of that was that 0:13 of game time.
It is not to the credit of Andy Reid… or Eric Bieniemy… or Patrick Mahomes.
It belongs to Travis Kelce.
Check this shit out.
“It worked out well for us this time,” said Mahomes. “When you have two teams going back and forth, it stinks when you don’t get to see the other guy go. But all you can do is play the rules the way the rules are explained, and that’s what we did.”
The Chiefs will now host Cincinnati on Sunday, becoming the first franchise in NFL history to host four consecutive conference championship games.
Thanks to Travis Kelce.
