It is weird to think that we have all grown up with celebrity sex tapes on every page of our favorite porn site — we probably even made a few of our own (without the celebrity aspect) — and to think, before the mid-90s this wasn’t a thing at all.
We all owe a great deal of gratitude to Pamela Anderson, Tommy Lee, and the pissed off plumber who stole and then leaked the footage.
Anyways, Hulu is set to release a limited series based on the entire thing with Marvel-fixture Sebastian Stan as Lee and Lily James as Anderson. The series also stars Nick Offerman, Taylor Schilling, Andrew Dice Clay (who I did not know was still alive), Pepi Sonuga, Spencer Granese, and Mozhan Marnò. As is tradition with Hulu, the first three episodes of Pam & Tommy will all premiere on Wednesday, Feb. 2, and the rest of the episodes will weekly.

For background, Lee and Anderson got married in 1995 — just four days after they met — they decided to make a sex tape while they were on their honeymoon. The couple claims that they had intended to keep it private, but a plumber (played by the sometimes funny, mostly annoying Seth Rogen), stole the tape and ended up releasing it online.
The pair divorced just three years later — which probably hit the over, if people were betting — after a predictably rocky relationship. Lee also had the pleasure of spending time in jail for spousal abuse after he was accused attacking Anderson while she was holding their infant son, leaving her with bruises and a torn fingernail.
The casting on this show is actually pretty good, if you line up the pictures of Lee, Anderson, Stan, and James.
No word on if Stan has a crank the size of Tommy or just some facial similarities.
