I fucking love this guy. The entire world has been arguing for two years. Twitter is basically Abu Ghraib, Stephen Colbert is propagating vaccination like its late 1930’s Germany, and everybody has lost at least one family member to either Q Anon or COVID. Yet, this guy has his eyes on the prize- profits.

“Covid forced many people to ground, not to travel anymore and for that reason there is quite a lot of wealth accumulated and that is spent on luxury goods,” Müller-Ötvös said. “We profited from that development.”

Losers will call this insensitive; I call this being a winner. I worked at a liquor store at the beginning of this whole thing, and one night my boss pulled me over and said, “the great thing about selling booze is that when things are good, people drink, but when things are bad, they drink more.” Why wouldn’t you buy a Rolls Royce if you had the money? I respect humility, but if I were making thirty times my current salary, I too would want to ride around in a big white car that says, “I’m richer than you.”
