Apparently the internet is letting a dog decide its mood for the day. Known as “Bones Day” or “No Bones Day” is the latest trend on TikTok and if you haven’t heard, let me explain:
Jonathan Graziano plays a game every day with his 13-year-old pug — “Bones or No Bones” — records almost every morning, and then drops it to his all-too-engaged audience to determine their fate for the remaining hours of their miserable lives. The game, you see, is whether or not the dog will stand up (Bones Day) or simply flop back over in bed (No Bones Day).
Brilliant. I guess?
If it is a ‘No Bones’ day, he tells his followers not to take any risks.
If it is a ‘Bones’ day, well it is time to fvcking party!
Graziano starts most of his videos videos with some variation of, “Good morning, everyone, and welcome back to yet another round of ‘no bones,’ the game where we find out if my 13-year-old pug woke up with bones, and we also kind of find out how our day is going to go.”
And away it goes… does the dog stand or roll over?
“Oh, my gosh! Oh my, gosh! We have bones!” Graziano exclaims when this fvcking dog stands up. As though this makes any bit of difference on our actual life.
How much attention is this getting? Too much.
The hashtag “BonesDay” has been viewed almost 40 million times as of Tuesday. It is crushing “#BonesOrNoBones,” which still has been viewed more than 2.4 million times.
What’s worse? “No bones” was Twitter trending on Monday.
