After months of drawn-out trials, Elon Musk has finally completed his purchase of the beloved Twitter, already making massive changes throughout the company. Firing the CEO, CFO, and chief content moderator, Musk announced his presence immediately. I won’t get into the politics of it all, but it seems as though Musk plans to shift Twitter into a less censored media platform. Honestly, though, I couldn’t care less about his plans for the company moving forward, as long as I still get to watch random people fighting and Russell Westbrook get constantly slandered.
You would think that acquiring such a giant company would warrant Musk to be at press releases or whatever else people do in these instances, but no. Rather, Musk took the opportunity to drop a video of the corniest pun known to man on – of course – Twitter.
Over the next week or so, I bet we’ll end up seeing Donald Trump reinstated on Twitter or something along those lines, chaos will ensue, and then we will all forget about it in a month. Or, this Twitter takeover might not have any relevance at all. I mean, Tom and Giselle did just announce their divorce.
