faked shark attack

Back in 2017 apparently a few people fell for a really bad fake. The video shows Molly Cavalli cage diving when conveniently off screen her foot appears to get tugged and red comes across the screen. She is pulled out of the water, back onto the boat and we are told she is given stitches on her foot after what was apparently a lemon shark attack. The supposed wound is not particularly deep and doesn’t warrant the amount of red video effect used.  It was indeed discovered to be fake and assumed to be a PR stunt.

Yeah, so I knew my first piece wasn’t going to do super well since it was just an introduction for me as a character and I just felt it was somewhat necessary in order for people to know what I was about. So it goes up and then we see Underrated Porn Star of the Week a couple hours later. That shit racks up thousands of hits in minutes and I can’t even break 100 in the time it takes me to finish googling “Do sharks like porn?” find this story (as well as a lot of stuff I didn’t want to find), and wrestle with myself, “I’m really gonna phone in an article about a story from 2017 just because it’s about a porn star and sharks.”

When I googled it I was kind of hoping there would be some kind of scientific study about making sharks watch porn and how they’d respond.  Could be like how they tested their response to different types of music.  Maybe different types of sharks respond to different types of porn… Big-Black-Tip Reef; Great White Load; Goblin Deez Nuts; She Gives Great Hammer Head… you get the idea.

Anyway here’s the video:
