Oh BABY. We’ve got some genuinely fantastic beef going on in the NFL world right now. Last night Shannon Sharpe, who co-hosts Undisputed with Skip Bayless and is also a three time Super Bowl champ and a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame (remember this) got into it with DK Metcalf on Twitter.
While watching what can only be described as a toilet bowl of Sunday Night Football, Shannon Sharpe tweeted out the following:
DK Metcalf was not a fan. The Seahawks ended up losing the game, and in all honesty, Sharpe was completely right in what he said. Metcalf got absolutely bailed out last night after fumbling when he could’ve stepped out of bounds, but he didn’t seem to recognize this. He tweeted in response:

Get absolutely BODIED, DK, but it doesn’t stop there:
Now, sometime between then and about twenty minutes ago, someone must have put into perspective just what Shannon Sharpe’s resume looks like for DK Metcalf. I’ll remind you: the man won three Super Bowls, is in the Hall of Fame, and spent something like fourteen seasons playing in the NFL. Now, after all that success, he has an incredibly popular show. I’m not claiming to know much about resumes, but that’s a pretty impressive one. I genuinely believe that Metcalf had no idea who Shannon Sharpe was other than a TV personality, but whatever research he did led to this tweet:
There you have it. DK Metcalf made an absolute fool of himself and then when he realized he was being a complete and total moron, he sent out an incredibly half-assed apology tweet. I’m here for it, though. Nothing is better than watching someone who should have been drafted over JJ Arcega-Whiteside by the Eagles in 2019 get made to look like an absolute buffoon.
