Notoriously, track and cross country athletes are known to sport incredibly tiny shorts during their races. But, not to the point where your schlong can just hang out freely in the wind. For Italian decathlete Alberto Nonino, this nightmare became a reality Thursday morning during a 400-meter race at the 2022 World Athletics Championships in Colombia.
As seen in the video, Nonino begins to make a strong push towards the front of the pack, but his wang clearly had other ideas. Coming in last place, Nonino was understandably devastated by this freak accident, but I don’t really see this as much of a loss. I mean, a majority of the western world now knows that Alberto Nonino is absolutely packing. The guy was already a stud decathlete – and now this? Save some for the rest of us pal.
Nonino took to social media after the race to ensure that this weenie wardrobe malfunction was simply an accident, which I see no reason not to believe. An intentional flashing during a high-stakes race? I think not. However, I wouldn’t be surprised if we start seeing a lot more of these “incidents” in future races. Any publicity is good publicity, right? Well, maybe only if you’re above average.
