JR Smith is back in college and has been tweeting out his struggles dealing with class, taking quizzes, and normal college kid problems. Well, he’s only dealing with syllabus week, but hey, he’s living in the struggle. At the same time, being a former NBA player who’s worth millions of dollars. Regardless JR is not a fan of frats. The man who appeared at an NBA parade wearing this isn’t about the frat life.

I would imagine that JR would love frats. I never joined a frat, shit I only lasted a semester in community college, but the people I know who joined a frat absolutely loved it. We had people on Twitter trying to explain it to JR, but he didn’t care; he still didn’t understand it.

If this is a money thing JR on his last contract made $1.4 million, and according to spotrac, JR made over $90 million on NBA contracts alone. It’s not like JR needs to make friends. I know that NBA players have huge entourages, so he doesn’t need to make any connections. Shit, he probably had some of his friends join the college, so he had some buddies in his classes. So for JR Smith, I don’t see why he would ever join a frat, but god, would it be cool if he did. I would love to see NBA champion; millionaire, ex-NBA player have to do pledge duties.
