Country music star Morgan Wallen has been forced to cancel his upcoming tour dates and appearances due to vocal chord trauma. In a video posted on social media, Wallen announced that his doctors advised him to go on vocal rest for six weeks to prevent permanent damage to his voice. He also revealed that he tore his lat while on tour in Australia, which he had been working through quietly.

Wallen and his team are currently working to reschedule his upcoming tour dates and festival appearances, with the announcement of new dates to open a 30-day refund window. Wallen’s One Night At A Time World Tour, which is his first time headlining stadiums across the globe for multiple nights, is one of the largest tours of 2023 so far and the biggest tour of Wallen’s career, visiting 30 stadiums, plus arenas, amphitheaters, and festivals to fans across four countries and two continents.

This cancellation also comes after he canceled a concert in Mississippi due to losing his voice last month. This came with speculation that he was actually hungover from the night before because he announced he wouldn’t be performing 2 hours before he was supposed to get on stage.

As someone who is going to his concert in mid-July, this doesn’t personally affect me but I also understand the outrage. I saw people spending a bag on these tickets and I get why people are so upset, but I also wouldn’t want to spend all that money and get a half-ass concert.
