The last time we discussed the washed up founding member of the Butterface Club, Madonna, was when she flung her old ass across the desk at Jimmy Fallon…. and then literally showed her ass — to make sure she got attention. It was one of the most clicked stories of October as we discussed who fvcking awful she is.
Now, she is back at it with being the worst. This time, recreating the suicide scene of Marilyn Monroe.
The photo shoot highlights the formerly relevant artist laying face down on a mattress with her new go-to move — showing what is left of her ass — while in another image has prescription pill bottles on the nightstand.
Let’s go to the tape:
Yup… that is about as clearly ‘Marilyn Monroe Suicide’ as it gets.
Photographer Steven Klein tried to lie said that the idea for the shoot was less about Marilyn but more about the former starlet and her ability to emote through the lens.
“We were not interested in recreating the images exactly but more importantly, we wanted to explore the relationship between photographer and subject. Both the friendship and the artistic process, and how art can imitate life and vice versa,” he said, via press release.
That is a lie. But at least he is willing to lie for his craft.
I guess.
“When I sent Madonna the photos, she was really taken by the incandescent fragility of Marilyn at that moment in her life,” the release continued. “We decided to find a hotel suite and try to capture the liaison between a star and the camera, the mystery, and magic of this creative collaboration.”
