I could do a whole drawn-out summary of this week’s games, but I’m pretty sure everyone who is reading this right now spent all of Sunday – and unfortunately Thursday night – watching the NFL. So, without further ado, here are some fantasy studs and duds from week six:
Stud: Stefon Diggs (30.8 PPR Points)
The Bills are a powerhouse – no doubt about it. Stefon Diggs, the top fantasy wide receiver this year, has found his true home in Buffalo. The chemistry between Josh Allen and Diggs is remarkable, and if they continue to dominate throughout the regular season, I can’t see why the Bills won’t be Super Bowl favorites.
Dud: Clyde Edwards-Helaire (3.3 PPR Points)
Clyde Edwards-Helaire has got to be the most frustrating fantasy running back of all time. Although he’s had a solid season so far, you never know when the Chiefs will just completely stop using him during a game, resulting in CEH being an incredibly risky start each week. I really couldn’t care less about his performance as I don’t have him on any of my teams, but for CEH owners around the world, I’m sorry.
Stud: Joe Shiesty (32.5 PPR Points)
After thoroughly wetting himself in week one, Joe Shiesty has been COOKING. Throwing for 300 yards and three touchdowns, Burrow is willing the surprisingly mediocre Bengals to victories week after week. With the AFC North standings as tight as they are, he’ll need to make this hot streak last for as long as possible.
Dud: DK Metcalf (5.4 PPR Points)
It amazes me that an athletic freak like DK Metcalf could perform as poorly as he did against the Cardinals on Sunday. Don’t blame it on Geno Smith either – he’s been leading the NFL in QB rating and carrying the Seahawks to wins. Hopefully, we’ll see a better showing from DK Metcalf against the Chargers’ secondary next week. The Seahawks are gonna need it.
