Tom Brady has officially retired, probably for good this time, but who knows. What an absurd career and what an absolute legend of a human being. Growing up a Giants fan my whole life, I always hated Tom. I absolutely loved when he lost, always cheering when the Pats would lose or when he would fuck something up. Of course, I knew he was the best QB on the field at any given time, but I hated him and how much he won. Well before Brady left the Pats though, I started to admire him (I still hate Belichick though, that guy sucks). You cannot deny that Brady isn’t the best player to come through the league and is literally the undeniable GOAT.
It’s great to take a second and look back on Brady’s career. I mean, the guy got his team to the Super Bowl 10 times, and he won 7 of them (Go Giants). He’s 2 rings above anyone on the list who’s even close to him. What’s even crazier to me is that Brady won his last Super Bowl his first year with the Bucs. He honestly turned around a team that had been so bad for so many years and brought home a ring. The question is though, what happens to the Bucs now?
For any Buccaneers fans out there, I’m sorry, but I feel like it’s going to be rough. The Buc’s were down in so many games this year, and the only reason they won some of them was because of Tom. Same way as how they were terrible until Brady came along and won a Super Bowl. Sure, you have Mike Evans, you have Godwin, Lenny, Rachaad White, and you have a few star players on both sides of the line. But that doesn’t mean anything if you don’t have a QB, and that’s a fact. As happy as everyone is for Brady, I’m sure Bucs fans are pissed because they know what is coming.
