The Paul brothers have for many years dominated the social media space. From Logan Paul making shitty vines, filming a dead guy, and scamming people with an NFT scam. To his even more obnoxious younger brother Jake being a Disney channel star to a professional “boxer”. The paul brothers have been a stain on society for many years now. But after jakes loss, this Sunday in his highly anticipated match with Tommy fury the paul brothers’ empire may finally start to be crumbling.
Jake paul this Sunday in my eyes was completely outmatched. His opponent Tommy Fury landed double pauls significant strikes in a 49-24 split. Other than a jab to the face that put Fury down in the 8th Faul lacked enough offense to get him a unanimous victory. The fight overall to me was boring and a waste of anyone’s money who bought it. I just went on a twitch stream and watched a 15-year-old kid act like he was playing UFC 3 to watch the fight. And honestly, at the end of it, I felt bad that this random kid spent money to watch a so-called “boxing” match.
We all knew what would happen as soon as Jake Paul faced even a low-tier to even mediocre boxer he would be outclassed and outmatched. Paul definitely held his own and landed good punches that inflicted some damage. We all knew as soon as he stopped facing old no longer in-their-prime MMA fighters he would lose and he did.
Jake paul will be back and he definitely could kick my ass but it warms my heart to see he was finally beaten and he was made to eat his words for once in his life. Tommy fury, while he will always be in his brother’s shadow, proved that he can beat a novice mediocre boxer. And he deserves a little respect for that I guess.
