Happy Birthday Rob McElhenney, from Ryan Reynolds and everyone else. If you don’t know, Rob McElhenney is the creator and actor on It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia, the longest running and funniest sitcom in the history of television. In addition to this, McElhenney along with Ryan Reynolds just became co-owners of a Welsh soccer team called, Wrexham FC. They also made a show about it called Welcome to Wrexham where the two of demonstrate the best Hollywood bromance since Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey smoked enough weed on the set of True Detective to get God high. Yes, it’s cool to see how a soccer team is run, but the fascination of this show comes from the humor and chemistry between the owners.
Neither of their shows or movies have released recently, but that doesn’t mean him and Reynolds can’t make us laugh on the internet anyway. For Rob McElhenney’s birthday, Ryan Reynolds created a song to sing happy birthday and for everyone to learn how to pronounce his last name.
I mean come on who wouldn’t want to spend a romantic afternoon on a boat with these two. These guys are like if you and your friends were able to live out every, “if we were rich, we would…” fantasy you’ve ever had. The two of them are having the time of their lives, playing real life Fifa, and making millions of dollars in the process. They are hilarious, handsome, and so so so rich. And also, every time they put something on our screen, whether it’s a 2-minute Twitter video, a super hero movie, or a show about people working at a bar, it’s top-notch entertainment. So happy birthday to Rob McElhenney. Thanks for all of the laughs.
Also, Dee’s a bird.
