The Phoenix Suns suffered a crushing defeat in an elimination game against the Denver Nuggets for the second consecutive year. Despite initially taking a 24-21 lead, the Suns were unable to maintain their momentum. The Nuggets went on a dominant 23-2 run, leaving the Suns unable to mount a comeback. However, Chris Paul was absent due to injury, and stars Devin Booker and Kevin Durant struggled to make an impact.
We all need to stand up and applaud Chris Paul for finally beating his addiction to *checks notes* the one time he made the Finals. He is 2 years sober and it’s looking like he will never make the Finals again as a true impact player. I really don’t know what was going through his mind when he said this in 2021, but he acted like him making the Finals wasn’t an anomaly. I feel bad for Devin Booker because he saw his front office trade away their entire bench to get Kevin Durant and his receding hairline. Seems like the Suns are just gonna blow the whole thing up and keep their core of Devin Booker and maybe Ayton? No way KD resigns. Might be time for CP3 to start making more State Farm commercials and become a family man.
