On Sunday, the Persian Gulf International Airport in Iran experienced heat with a heat index reaching a staggering 152 degrees Fahrenheit, as reported by the U.S. National Weather Service. At 12:30 p.m. local time, the air temperature was recorded at 104 degrees, accompanied by intense humidity and a dew point of 90 degrees. Right off the bat, I want to mention that “heat index” isn’t real. I think its a construct supported by Big Weather to push a deep narrative
Throughout the day, the heat index at the airport remained consistently above 120 degrees, finally dropping below 117 degrees at 11:30 p.m. It’s important to point out that the heat index is how hot it feels to the human body by combining the ambient air temperature with the level of humidity.
I live in California and I think we all need to calm down with this “heat index” talk. It was 113 where I live with possible thunderstorms. I don’t even understand how that works but that just means “hot”. Also, I’m in the belief that after a certain heat, it’s just “hot”. I couldn’t feel the difference between 105 and 110 because it’s miserable regardless.
Regardless, Earth is on the hot seat as we speak because there is no way humans should be dealing with this heat. Good news for us, we’re about a month away from preseason NFL and college football.
