New York Jets Offseason Workout

Aaron Rodgers seems to feel at home with the New York Jets so far. The man has always been a New Jersey scumbag through and through. His famous draft day quote about executives making the biggest mistake of their career sounds exactly like a Rutgers grad who didn’t get the finance job he had been dead set on ever since he saw Leo doing drugs and driving Ferraris in The Wolf of Wall Street. He has since leaned heavy into psychedelics, and has been dating Hollywood at the same rate that Brad Pitt did in the 90s. This is now confirmed even more as he outed himself as a super fan of Jersey Shore.

Rodgers exposed himself in an interview with the Jets’ media team where he called Jersey Shore, “one of the greatest shows ever.” People question if Aaron Rodgers is a weird guy as often as they question him being a great quarterback. They don’t, because we have all seen enough proof to know that he is definitely both of those things. Of course, Rodgers is a super fan of a show that has done more for STDs in New Jersey than he did for the Packers. Why wouldn’t he be?

I like the idea of Shailene Woodley talking about a film that inspired her to become an actress, only for Rodgers to respond, “I hear ya. Have you seen Jersey Shore though? It’s pretty awesome.” His obsession with this show doesn’t sound casual at all. If he’s half as big of a fan as he let on, I bet he had some Jersey Shore themed letter written to Davante Adams to let him know that ownership was replacing them.

In an offseason filled with psychedelics and literal darkness for Aaron Rodgers, I think it’s impossible for him to surprise me anymore. Though I will admit, him being obsessed with a group of sexually deviant Jersey trash almost got me.
