Antonio Brown is speaking again (sigh). Brown is known to be one of the most psychotic and controversial players in the history of the NFL, if not all of sports. He’s done some of the dumbest shit in all of football, which we’ll touch on later. He’s been in an out of the league multiple times, and now he’s calling for another chance with who else but “America’s Team,” The Dallas Cowgirls! The Cowboys have struggled with finding receivers that could stay on the field, with recent free agent acquisition James Washington injuring his foot, and Michael Gallup nursing a torn ACL. Leaving one reliable receiver in Cee Dee Lamb, who by the way is very good at football, Dak and Dallas simply need more. Enter AB.
He follows this up by saying (regarding if he has talked to Tom Brady since leaving mid-game week 17 against the Jets), “Nah but tell him I miss the passes, I’m still open.” He’s also asked where he could see himself ending up and he says “the sky.” What? I swear Antonio Brown has the mental capacity of a third grader. Here’s a reminder that he attended Central Michigan University at one point, a university I didn’t know existed until I looked it up, and it has a 69% acceptance rate (nice). He wasn’t always this way it seems.
Antonio Brown also dropped ANOTHER bombshell on the media a little prior to this. On August 11th, he released a tweet that I thought was a joke at first. I didn’t see who posted it so I thought it was some corny NFL meme account, but it was him! He posted it! I was surprised, but not as surprised as I would be if it was, I don’t know, any other athlete ever. Here’s the tweet.
Honestly it’s one of the wildest tweets I’ve ever read. He compared watching him play to “Watching the Beatles or Jesus (JESUS) perform at Red Rocks.” That’s straight up absurd. He also names every controversial act he’s committed over his entire NFL career, which is pretty self incriminating. He’s a lunatic, and the whole world certainly knows it. In his head though, he’s seemingly the second coming of God himself. You’re not Him AB, and you’ll never be Him. ESPECIALLY if you become a Dallas Cowboy.
