The Lions are off to a hot start after opening the season with a road victory against the Chiefs. The Kansas City crowd left disappointed, except for Jared Goff’s smokeshow girlfriend, Christen Harper, who cheered him on from the first row.
Harper was the 2022 SI Swimsuit Rookie of the Year. Basically, she’s the Sauce Gardner of super models. For some reason though, she locked down a middle of the road quarterback. One who plays in Detroit nonetheless. Sure, Goff has the contract to attract most women. That could also be said for every single quarterback who throws a more accurate go ball than Goff.
Despite getting the win last night, Goff failed to put on much of a show. The game was pretty much decided by the fact that the Chiefs receivers couldn’t catch anything. It was an underwhelming night for entertainment in the NFL’s first night. I’m not sure why the NFL refused to take a page from the NCAA, and focus on the wives and girlfriends to fill some dead air. Sure, we got to see the members of the Hutchinson family we fell in love with on Hard Knocks. But that was ruined by them deciding to mic up Aidan Hutchinson’s dad for some reason.
Overall, I’m appreciative of Christen Harper, and the beauty she brought to a lackluster season opener. I hope she is featured more throughout the season, and possibly even allowed on the Lions’ sidelines.
