So after a few sketchy games, we’re 500. Can’t be mad at it but the stock is about to rocket up like a pledge when Johnny Locks walks into the room on a college ball night. Hockey has been HOT so we’ve got 2 puck picks, a rigged NBA special, and of course a Big 10 ball lock. Look the only thing worse than a bad Capper is being in the room with a kid who has the worst YouTube aux of all time. So I’m not going to play a video everyone has seen 100 times, and I’m definitely not going to go below .500 .
Knicks vs Kings: Knicks ML -125
The boys just have to come through for me tonight. Coming off a very rough loss, the Knicks will be looking to rally a ridiculously deep bench over an average Kings team. With some better production out of their bigs and shooters, the Knicks really could be mortal locks to knock down average jits like De’Aaron Fox and the kings.
Michigan vs Iowa: Michigan -5/ML
I’m probably just going to put Mich in multiple lays because tonight is a big night for college ball. This team is just so fucking good. The Big Ten is sketchy with spreads like 5 because their bigs and guards are always so evenly matched. This game will be close in the first half, but Michigan is just too good for Iowa to hang with.
Oilers vs Canucks: Oilers ML
Look, I love Petey and Hughesy as much as the next guy, but there’s an undefeated goalie in net, and he doesn’t play for Vancouver. If that Edmonton first line has a single point in the first period, the game is just over. It happens every time. Do not let Connor and Leon smell blood. They’re killers. THIS IS THE PICK OF THE NIGHT RIGHT HERE.
Islanders vs Bruins: Islanders +1.5
I can see getting my heart completely shattered by an empty netter here, but I think the isles prevail in a huge game tonight. The B’s are riding very hot and will be taken down a notch in the East in these coming weeks. The Iles let me down last week only scoring 2 against a pretty shitty Pens squad but here comes the bounce back from Barzy and the boys.
