I don’t know about you but my Tik Tok For You page lately has been flooded by 40 to 50-year-old dudes yelling about how much they now despise Budweiser and the Anheuser-Busch Brewing Company. Well after a 20-second Google search, I found out why people are mad. And it’s absolutely fucking stupid. From what I’ve seen people are pissed because of one reason a Tik Tok influencer Dylan Mulvaney a transgender woman partnered with Anheuser-Busch and got her face on a couple of cans. Ok, so what? Well for some reason a bunch of boomers got upset by this and are trying to boycott the largest brewing company in the world. To varying levels of success.
For me I just don’t see why anyone gives a fuck, honestly, Saddam Hussein could advertise Budweiser, and I’ll still drink it. I don’t really give a fuck who advertises for a beer company that has made basically the same product for the past 100 years. It really doesn’t matter and I think a majority of Americans could care less. Love me or hate me but Bud Light tastes like literal piss water anyways, so they can boycott that shitty beer all they want. But once you come after my sacred Budweiser that’s where I draw the line. The people who have been drinking Budweiser over the past century it has been around are not going away. That’s probably because a majority of them have to drink Budweiser to function every day.
To conclude my thoughts, a small minority of people can be mad all they want at a major Fortune 500 company that brings in billions of dollars every year. But for the rest of us, normal people in this country we could honestly care less about who or what they put on a can of beer that’s had the same taste for the last century. In my opinion, I think it’s more gay that a bunch of 30 to 40-year-old dudes are in their feels over a beer can. Remember it’s fucking beer just get drunk and have a good time and stop caring about whos on it.
