Say what you want about Playboy, but they do a hell of a marketing job.
A few weeks ago, the nudie magazine offered a modeling gig to a female Drake fan who threw her massive bra on stage at a concert. She now works full-time for Playboy’s new subscription-based app similar to OnlyFans.
Well, Playboy made headlines again today as the magazine has just announced a new cover model. This isn’t just any other beautiful Playboy girl, however.
On February 26, 2022, just three days after Russia invaded Ukraine, model and TV personality Iryna Bilotserkovets was driving home with her three children when bullets began swarming her vehicle. Struck multiple times in the head and face, doctors told Bilotserkovets she was “probably going to die.” However, after months of multiple reconstructive and emergency surgeries, Bilotserkovets appears on Playboy Ukraine’s first printed edition since the invasion began over a year ago.
Following the assassination attempt, Bilotserkovets said she couldn’t even recognize herself in the mirror. In an interview with The Sun, Bilotserkovets recalled “an eye missing, tubes sticking out everywhere, hair shaved off from surgery. Stitches, scars, wounds everywhere; I was just Frankenstein’s monster.”
Bilotserkovets suffered a broken jaw, lost an eye, and was left with scars covering her body.
Despite the attack, Bilotserkovets refuses to let the accident control her life. Since the fateful day, Bilotserkovets has been working with Ukrainian cultural forces to put on events for troops and raise money for emergency medical equipment.
In her appearance on the Playboy cover, Bilotserkovets dazzles in a symbolic armored bikini, signifying her resilience and strength. She dons a silver eyepatch to cover her missing eye, and yet somehow still remains just as gorgeous as ever.
In her interview, Bilotserkovets claimed “I no longer have a pretty face, but the rest of my body is beautiful.” Well Iryna, that’s simply just not true. Everything about you is beautiful. Your face, your body, your strength, and your courage. You are a true Ukrainian hero.
This new edition of Playboy Ukraine is titled “Women Stay Strong” and revolves around women’s empowerment. I know that’s a strange thing for a porno magazine to cover, but honestly judging from the front page I think Playboy did as good of a job as they possibly could.
As for Bilotserkovets, you should be extremely proud of yourself. Not only are you proving to Putin that you are stronger than his putrid attack, but you are also officially the hottest girl without an eye ever.
