It’s August, which means football season is basically here. Hard Knocks premieres next week, fantasy commissioners everywhere are setting up their drafts, and we get to see wild highlights from training camps around the league. Although I’m a fantasy junkie, the latter might be my favorite part. No one can deny that watching random unsigned rookies route up veteran corners is flat-out awesome. So, let’s take a look at some of the craziest catches from NFL training camp thus far:
Mama, there goes that man. George Pickens is a walking highlight. After his crazy one-handed catch last season, I’m certain that Pickens will continue to produce viral moments like this one again and again. Even the corner can’t hide the feeling of pure defeat after this insane snag.
I’m not so sure that this catch qualifies as a “moss”, but it’s pretty impressive nonetheless. Especially since Jaire Alexander is a top defensive back in the NFL and Romeo Doubs is probably going in the 14th round of your fantasy drafts. I might consider drafting him just a little bit earlier after this highlight.
Now that is a moss. Although a majority of them might never see the field, some undrafted rookies simply have that dog in them. I think Jason Brownlee is one of those guys. The only thing better than a one-handed catch is a one-handed catch with a solid flex afterward. Brownlee delivered.
We all know Terry McLaurin. And if you didn’t, now you do. Touchdown Terry is bound for another great season and I think this video perfectly exemplifies why. That is, if Sam Howell can actually get the ball to him.
