If you’ve been following me for a while, I think you already know this. If we take a trip down memory lane, we uncover a really messy dating pass.

From stealing my money for drugs, to unemployed sociopaths, to swiping on tinder in front of me, it’s safe to say, the bar is on the floor. But why? Well, the answer is pretty clear if you’ve known me for most of my life.

People on twitter read my horror dating stories and they say, “Maybe it’s you?” And you know what… I think it is.

I was once ugly.

Yes, yes. Hold your gasps. It’s hard to believe that someone who is this hot now, was once an ugly duckling. But the rumors. They are true.

And I guess that’s why I go for textbook fuckboys. I never got attention from guys growing up so when I died my hair and bought a new wardrobe, it was game over.

All those hot guys I used to idolize, who liked all the really hot girls, they now wanted me. And I loved it. I manipulated myself into thinking that being tormented by these guys felt good. There’s probably some type of science behind it, but all I know is there was a time where the textbook fuckboys used to make me feel high on drugs.

Fortunately, I think I have recovered from this addiction and I’m more drawn to normal guys. Who have jobs. But, if you or a loved one is experiencing life altering difficulties from this epidemic, you should listen to this week’s episode of my podcast, So I Was Like.
