Before all of you guys start complaining about whether Aaron Rodgers is right or wrong about not getting the vaccine, I don’t care so keep your comments to yourself. I am here to get into a serious conversation about Aaron being traded to the Jets.
Aaron Rodgers was traded to the Jets yesterday after about 2 months of limbo between the Packers and the Jets struggling to reach an agreement. The complete terms of this trade seem like the Jets got fleeced for the 39-year-old quarterback.
My favorite part of this whole story is that Aaron Rodgers, known for saying he won’t get vaccinated against COVID-19, is now employed by the owner of Johnson & Johnson. Yes, that Johnson and Johnson. The one that made one of the vaccines. Chris and Woody Johnson are great-grandsons of the guy who started Johnson & Johnson and if you can’t read this story and just chuckle, you need to get your brain checked. Also, Aaron Rodgers going head-to-head with a very understanding and tolerant New York media will be hilarious.
At the same time, Aaron Rodgers is in Costa Rica on an Ayahuasca retreat (reported by Outkick.com) and liking tweets that are trolling Zach Wilson. This is either going to go terribly for the Jets and Aaron or they are going to win the Super Bowl, only time will tell. While I don’t care about this move for either team, I am sad to see Aaron leave because my 49ers won’t be able to beat up on him every year in the playoffs.
