Bingeworthy Shows for Christmas Break

We’ve entered the point in break in which it’s time to just admit that you’re a lazy piece of shit and commit to powering through a show to watch. Here are some of my top picks right now:

Succession (HBOMax)

Admittedly, I’m doing this binge on my own right now, so I’m still working through the first season. But the reason I’m watching it is that it came recommended to me as “one of the best shows since Breaking Bad,” and I have to say that I’m a massive fan of it already.

Ozark (Netflix)

If you haven’t already seen Ozark, now is the time to watch it. There have been three seasons so far, and with the fourth and final season coming out in late January, you’d be able to fully catch up and watch the end unfold with everyone else. Plus, Jason Bateman is fucking awesome in this bad boy.

Curb Your Enthusiasm (HBO)

I’m not sure if it’s possible to binge the entirety of this show (I’d encourage you to try), but the most recent season has been absolutely hysterical, and it warrants a binging if you have the time. Larry David is simply one of the funniest people to ever walk the face of the earth.

You (Netflix)

Season two of You was one of the most intense and entertaining seasons of television I’ve watched in a while, but I will say it peaked there. The series is still a fun watch, though, but it’s more of pure suspense than anything else.

Entourage (HBOMax)

If you listen to none of my other recommendations from this or any other blog, listen to this one. I finally checked this one off my list this past semester, and I can honestly say I’ll be re-watching it next semester. I would say that no other show has made me laugh that hard while still being incredibly invested in the lives and success of the characters. I can’t say enough how badly I wish I could watch it for the first time again.
