Chick-fil-A Announces Two New Items

What’s up fast food fanatics, it’s your resident TFM tubster back once again. Today, I have some exciting news. Chick-fil-A has just announced two new seasonal menu items set to hit stores in just a couple of weeks.

Rolling out nationwide on August 28, Chick-fil-A has just announced the arrival of the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich as well as a Caramel Crumble Milkshake.

After testing over 30 different sandwich flavors in their Asheville, NC test kitchen, Chick-fil-A opted to bring the Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich to its fall menu. This is extremely exciting news as Chick-fil-A has never sold a chicken sandwich other than its original and spicy options. However, when they did decide to expand into bolder flavors, head chef Stuart Tracy knew he needed something savory and melty with a balance of sweet and spicy. That’s where the Honey Pepper Pimento comes in.

The Honey Pepper Pimento Chicken Sandwich takes the Original Chick-fil-A Chicken Sandwich and adds three bold ingredients: pimento cheese, jalepeños, and honey. Combining both green chiles and red pimentos with sharp cheddar cheese should give this sandwich a good amount of heat, while also adding a creamy element. To give it an extra little kick, the sandwich also has mild pickled jalepeños on top. However, to balance out the spice, each bun is drizzled with sweet honey. In the end, the sandwich is supposed to be well balanced and delicious. I have no donut about that.

Need something to wash down that sandwich? Well, you’re in luck because Chick-fil-A has also unveiled a new milkshake. The Caramel Crumble Milkshake takes the classic Chick-fil-A Icedream and adds in butterscotch and blondie crumbles. Of course, it then gets topped with whipped cream and a cherry. Who could resist?
