Christian McCaffrey, the San Francisco 49ers running back, proposed to his girlfriend, Miss Universe Olivia Culpo, over the weekend. The couple announced their engagement over the weekend in an Instagram post. The couple has been together since 2019 and were set up by mutual friends.
McCaffrey, who will be entering his seventh season in the league in 2023, had an impressive 2022 season, recording 1,139 rushing yards and eight touchdowns on 244 carries, along with 741 receiving yards and five touchdowns on 85 catches.
Christian McCaffrey is one of the luckiest men in the world. Not only is he one of the best runningbacks in the league, but he is also engaged to a supermodel and got traded to a contender last season leaving the dumpster fire in Carolina. He is winning at life right now. I think this is every boy’s dream growing up until we realized we were unathletic and ugly. Just me? To be fair though, what is the difference between being Christian McCaffrey or being the best beer dye player in your friend group and dating a girl who has over 2 thousand Instagram followers? I would argue they are similar situations. Bonus points if your girlfriend is a micro-influencer and has done a brand deal for a niche clothing company based out of Albuquerque. Either way, good for Christian and Olivia.
