I have been blessed to work for TFM for the last 2 months so here is a typical day in the life of a guy who writes blogs and runs social media for Total Frat Move.
6:30 AM: Let me tell you something, working for a company on the East Coast while living in Cali is no joke. Those dudes over there are already up and running while I gotta wake up hella early just to start typing away for y’all. But honestly, waking up at the crack of dawn has grown on me, except for those Thirsty Thursdays, where anything before 10 AM is straight-up brutal.
7:00 AM: I roll outta bed, take a leak, chug some H2O, and check my laptop for notifications on Slack, Twitter, and Facebook. Gotta make sure I’m on top of my game, amirite?
7:30-8:00 AM: After my fourth cup of Joe, I finally hit the gym at around 7:30-8 AM, with my chest and arms routine locked in, five days a week. Can’t skip leg day if you never plan it, but that’s a different story.
10:00 AM: I’m done with my pump sesh and ready to cook up some fuel for my bod. My go-to is a hearty meal of cereal and eggs, followed by a nice hot shower to get ready for the day.
10:30 AM: I sit down at my laptop and start letting the creative juices flow. Gotta keep the blogs and posts coming for all of you lovely people. I scour the internet for fresh content to keep y’all entertained.
2:30 PM: My eyes are fried from staring at a screen for hours, so I head outside for a much-needed break. Getting some fresh air and reconnecting with the Earth is the highlight of my day. Now, around 3 PM is where things start to go south. I just go with the flow and see where the vibes take me. You know how it is.
6:00 PM: I start to think about posts for tomorrow and get lost in my thoughts about all my ex-girlfriends and how I messed things up with them. It’s my depressive state for the day, but at least I can unwind in front of the TV and catch some basketball, baseball, or hockey. Gotta keep the sports addiction alive and keep Las Vegas funded with my 15-leg parlays.
10:00 PM: After watching 4 hours of sports and losing countless dollars, I finally call it a night and head to bed. Before I actually fall asleep, I’ll go ahead and watch at least an hour of Tik Toks while ignoring the book that has been sitting by my bed for the last 3 years.
While you probably read this and think, “Wow, this guy has it easy”. Think about how people compare blogging to working in the coal mines. People say that blogging is the most blue-collar position in digital media and I believe it.
