In August, when temperatures and tempers can run high, most football coaches always told players to remain calm and not to fight. However, Deion Sanders, the new head coach of the University of Colorado’s football team, took a different approach.
During a practice session, a minor fight broke out after a touchdown play. Instead of scolding players for the fight, Sanders was upset at his players for not showing enough fighting back for their teammates on the field. This incident marked a departure from the usual coaching style, highlighting Sanders’ unique approach to leading the team.
The University of Colorado football team is gaining attention after a disappointing season, with Sanders and talented transfers bringing new hope for the upcoming season. The Sanders era kicks off in September, with the team facing TCU and Nebraska in the following weeks.
While I think Deion is a very good coach, I am not too sure how his inaugural season will go at Colorado, but it would be a dream to play for this guy. Real football guys know that this is exactly the type of guy you want to play for. A perfect mix of a hardass and good coaching is the way to go. He is also just one of the greatest athletes of all time.
This goes along with my theory that baseball managers need to be thrown out of games every so often just to prove to their team that they are still involved in the team and not just sitting there looking dumb.
