I don’t want to sound like an old man, but I’ve been writing on this site for almost 5 and a half months. What I love to write about is sports, I of course love to write about the random internet stories. I have noticed that the blogs that I do about sports don’t get as many views as the blogs that I do about random internet stories. So it begs the question do college kids actually like watching sports?

My age bracket is on the cuff for remember life without the internet. I remember when the iPhone was released and that was mind blowing, being able to have the internet in your pocket meant endless amount of time to waste. Before that you had to kick your mom off the phone, and you were lucky if your page loaded within 10 minutes. There was no Instagram, no Tik Tok, and no Youtube to waste your time on. You had AOL chat rooms, and that was it. How does the old internet relate to college kids not loving sports? If I had what the internet is now growing up from a teenager to when I was in college I don’t know if I would have the same love for sports. The internet has something for anybody. So instead of sitting in front of the tv, and watching a 4 hour baseball game the internet lets people do whatever they want.

I waste hours away on the internet just like everybody else, and I also have no attention span, but when it comes to sports I can shut out the outside world and watch a ball be bounced around, or passed for hours. I don’t know if college kids nowadays have that same love, and I don’t blame them.
