Disney Channel’s list of actors and actresses is a long one, and apparently, one of those actors actually has a long one. It’s at least long enough that he made the transition into pornography. Unfortunately for guys everywhere who watched Disney Channel with their sisters, none of the girls we saw and crushed on made this switch up. Instead, Dan Benson, a former Wizards of Waverly Place actor, is now working in porn. This is the guy who played Zeke Beakerman, who was best friends with Justin on the show.
From 2007-2012, Benson acted alongside David Henry and Selena Gomez on the hit children’s show, but since then, he pivoted from children’s television to movies that children of the male variety watch on the computer once mom and dad go to bed. He shared a mental health update on TikTok where he talked about his transition to the adult entertainment industry.

Benson says that he’s doing really well, and he often receives praise and encouragement from fans for what he’s doing now. Duh. The guy has the single greatest job in the world, and that’s coming from a guy who woke up at 8:55am this morning and is currently writing this article from the comfort of his bed.
He even elaborated that in his new situation, he often is asked to do things he isn’t comfortable with, but he feels comfortable enough to say no, which begs a lot of questions about what exactly they’re asking adult film stars to do these days. Nonetheless, it’s cool to see that a guy made it out of Disney’s clutches and became the actor that every guy dreams of being.
With any luck, the former Wizards of Waverly Place actor who is now working in porn will inspire other former Disney Channel stars of the female variety, such as Selena Gomez, to give it their all in the adult entertainment industry, too. Probably not, but a guy can dream, right?
