My Phillies are off to an extremely slow start. And honestly, I don’t know if im supposed to start panicking or not. But let me hit you with the good news first our bats look great Castellanos has finally got his swagger back from what it looks like seemingly hitting the ball better than I’ve seen from him in a long time. But where I truly get worried is the same thing that worried me last year. And that is our dreadful pitching and even more dreadful fielding.

I love Alec Bohm he has what it takes to play in a dirtbag town like Philly. But damn the motherfucker looks like a blind kid with cataracts trying to field a ball out there I mean for christ’s sake we had five errors in a nine-inning game. How the hell does that even happen?  What worries me though is the pitch clock. Even without a pitch clock last year where pitchers waited for nine months to pitch a damn baseball, we still had one of the worst bullpen ERAs in the league. Now with our bullpen having just 15 seconds to pitch the baseball im expecting us to be even worse than last year.

Our starters though have not performed at their best either. With Nola getting shelled by opposing hitters more than a soldier in WW1 with a crisp 14.06 ERA, then add in Wheeler getting not being able to throw a pitch in the strike zone an entire game you got an 0-3 team that is starting to worry Philly sports fans around the country. I could just be an absolute fucking idiot worrying about a team that’s getting off to a slow start in a 162-game season.

But with the signs im seeing this early and add in no Bryce Harper. Im worried as hell. Judge me how you want but being a Philly sports fan this year has been a year of teasing and I got every goddamn right to believe that im going to get fucked over again.
