It’s been a year since last year’s spring break was canceled. The entire world was told to stay inside and not leave your parent’s house. This interview went viral as everybody was saying that college kids were going to ruin the entire world.

The days of getting blackout drunk at the beach, watching two girls grind on each other while covered in sand, and giving each other pink eye were over.

Fast forward to this year, and we are still dealing with this shit. Even though vaccines are being distributed, St. Patrick parades are canceled, and schools don’t want students to go anywhere for spring break. UC Davis is offering their students $75 to have a staycation. As somebody who has had a staycation for the last 2 weeks, it’s highly overrated. After 2 days of sitting around doing nothing, playing 6 hours of XBOX, and binge-watching every Netflix show under the sun, it gets old. You start to daydream of actually doing anything. Your ass gets sore from sitting on it all day, and the hours of scrolling through Instagram you get jealous of anybody who is having fun.

To attend UC Davis, it’s $14,495 for in-state students, and for out-of-state students, it’s $44,249 for just tuition. These motherfuckers are only offering $75 to skip out on the time of your life. I understand they don’t want their students to spread the virus, but I feel like they can drop a little more than $75.

If your school was offering $75 to miss your spring break vacation, would you take it? How much would your school have to offer to miss out on getting blackout drunk on the beach, seeing hot girls in the skimpiest bikinis, and missing out on the best time of your life?
