The Jordan’s and the Pippen’s seemingly go together like peanut butter and jelly. Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen won six NBA Championships, and defined the 90’s as much as grunge music. Now, their families are continuing their legacy with a pairing off the court. Michael Jordan’s son, Marcus, has been dating Scottie Pippen’s ex-wife, Larsa Pippen, for a while now. Despite this, the undisputed GOAT still does not approve of his son’s relationship.
There are many reasons Michael might not be a big fan of this relationship. First of all, there is a sixteen-year age gap between the two inhabitants of the greatest shadow in professional sports history. While Marcus was learning to walk on the courts that Jordan dominated on, Pippen was shopping for the clothing tight enough to secure a member of the dream team. My personal rules for an appropriate age gap in a relationship are simple. Both parties should be on the same age as eighteen. Despite following this rule, it’s still weird.
Another thing that Jordan might not like about this is the fact that he already has a previous relationship with Larsa. Him and Scottie are far from best friends, but the two have spent plenty of time together. They probably have way too much information on each other from Scottie Pippen. He was probably telling Mike dirty sex stories about her in the locker room before going home and telling her about Jordan’s gambling issues. But Pippen did say the two have a good relationship. Which clearly means MJ has way more dirt on her then she does.
