Happy National Donut Day! For those of you who didn’t know (everyone), today is an amazing day as several of the country’s biggest donut retailers will be giving away free donuts all day long. As the TFM resident fatty, I got you covered with all of today’s freebies and promos.
Dunkin’
Obviously America’s favorite donut shop is celebrating today’s festivities. All you need to do is buy a beverage and you get any classic donut for no additional cost. Sweet!
Krispy Kreme
If you know your donuts, you know no one does a glazed better than Krispy Kreme. Well, you’re in luck because KK (don’t you dare add another one) is giving out any donut of your choice for absolutely nothing, all you gotta do is show up. The deal doesn’t end there either. Krispy Kreme is also offering a BOGO. Just buy one dozen donuts and get another dozen for just $2 more.
Tim Hortons
The Canadian Dunkin’ is running the same exact special as our Boston-based American counterpart. Just buy any beverage and get a free donut. The only catch is that you must place your order either using the Tim Hortons’ app or online at https://www.timhortons.com/.
Taco Bell
“Taco Bell sells donuts???” Kinda. They have Cinnabon Delights, which are like fried balls of dough covered in cinnamon sugar and filled with cream cheese icing. Are they donuts? Not completely. Are they delicious? Dumb question, idiot. Anyway, if you want some, just spend $20 or more on either UberEats, Doordash, GrubHub, or Postmates and add a 2-pack of Cinnabon Delights to your order. Is this the best deal ever? No, but you get free delights and $20 worth of TBell, so it’s not a bad deal.
Duck Donuts
Full disclosure, this is the first I’m hearing about Duck Donuts. However, when I googled them it appears they are in a ton of states, so I had to include them. Plus, they’re running a pretty delicious deal of one free cinnamon sugar donut without any purchase necessary.

Dapper Doughnut (Colorado, Florida, Mississippi, Nebraska, Nevada, Texas)
I’ve never heard of this place, but they are running a hell of a deal. Free 6-pack of doughnuts with any purchase. The best part about this deal is that it goes all weekend from today June 2 through June 4.
Casey’s General Store (Midwest)
First off, let me sincerely apologize for you having to live in the Midwest. As a reward for your hard work, you are entitled to buy-one-get-one-free donuts all of today. However, you must be a Casey’s Rewards member.
Honey Dew Donuts (New England)
Where the hell is New England anyway? It’s too vague and I’m too stupid to know what it contains other than Massachusetts and horrible accents. Anyway, if you live there stop by Honey Dew Donuts for a free donut with purchase of beverage.

Lamar’s isn’t just giving away free donuts, but some lucky customers will also get a free t-shirt!

Shipley’s is giving out a free glazed do-nut with any purchase. However, if you order in-store the offer is only valid until 12pm. If you want your freebie after noon, you can get it by ordering online with promo code Donutday23.

Now this one is a doozy. Yonutz will be giving the first 10 customers at the top of every hour a free smashed donut. I don’t know what a smashed donut is, but I do know if you want one for free you’ll need to be strategic. Good luck.
Doughnut Planet (New York)
This deal is straight up pretentious, classic New York. Doughnut Planet has a collab with Neil Patrick Harris and his new ready to drink espresso martini After Hours Espresso Martini. The doughnut shop will be giving out free mini espresso martini doughnuts in special boxes with any purchase. After today, the actual full-size espresso martini doughnut will go on sale through June 8, and will also come with a QR code that awards the customer with 20% off any Thomas Ashbourne Craft Spirit (the NPH espresso martini manufacturer).
Legendary Doughnuts (Washington State)
I don’t even know if I should be including this, it’s such a bad promotion. While they aren’t offering anything free, Legendary Doughnuts is giving all customers today a raffle ticket. The winner of the raffle gets a free dozen doughnuts each month for the entire year. Cool if you win, but I don’t know if it’s worth going in just for the small chance you do.
