BEN– Macklemore
Macklemore released his new album BEN this weekend and there are definitely a few songs on there that need to be added to your playlists. It looks like someone left their caps lock on when making this album because every single song is titled in all caps. The first song on the album, CHANT, which features the Australian singer Tones and I has to be my favorite. The song starts out pretty slow but quickly becomes a classic Macklemore rap song. This is the type of song you’ll find me blasting in my headphones on my way to class. Another song on the album that you should definitely listen to is MANIAC (feat. Windser). Windser crushes the background music on this song making it an absolute vibe. While these songs are my personal favorites, I would give the whole album a listen.
Dying Man– Morgan Wallen
As with every new music Monday, I like to include some country music. This past week Morgan Wallen released some new music so I didn’t really have a choice with what artist I was gonna use. The best of his new songs is Dying Man. This is just your classic well-written Morgan Wallen song that will get you thinking real deep about life. Morgan Wallen never disappoints; make sure you include this gem in your country playlist.
Barty Party– BlackOut Bart
I have been Djing for a couple of years at frat parties and bars around my college. This vast experience has led me to the release of my first-ever mix Barty Party. The mix is pretty short but there isn’t one song that doesn’t hit. While you’re probably not gonna find this on any Spotify-curated new release playlists, I guarantee you that this mix will kickstart any pregame. Prepare yourself for ten straight minutes of EDM bangers. If you don’t wait until the end I guarantee you that you are going to miss out because the last song is absolutely bonkers. Make sure you’re bumping this shit all spring break long.
